positions
Second officer
A pilot recently graduated from flight school that is highly motivated to join a growing company where he/she can develop his/her skills. Besides flying you can apply for additional roles as: GI, CRMI, VPTI and documentation responsible.
First officer
From 1500hrs Volotea offers first officers to join the mentoring program which will guide them as best towards the upgrade. Additional roles to apply for like: GI, CRMI, VPTI, SFI/TRI and documentation responsible.
Senior First OfficerÂ
Having reached 3000hrs (factorized) you will pass through SFO level and are eligible to apply for the upgrade to captain.
Captain
The Captain is the Flight Crew member that has been designated by the Company to assume the global responsibility of the aircraft, its crew members, its passengers and its cargo. Additional roles you can apply for are: Base chief pilot, CRMI, LSC, TRI and TRE.Â
Line Supervision CaptainÂ
Captains interested in training can apply for a line supervision captain position in which you will be the first contact on the line to the new pilots joining the company (SO to CP).
Ground Instructor
Responsible for the theoretical ground course of the type ratings.
CRM Instructor
In charge of giving the annual CRM courses.
VPT InstructorÂ
Responsible in training the pilots for the first time on the simulator teaching them the SOP’s.
Type Rating Instructor
Responsible in teaching pilots on the simulator the final part of a type-rating as well as giving recurrent trying to pilots flying at Volotea.Â
Type Rating Examiner
Responsible for examining pilots during their skill test and LPC’s.
